    In my experience , I dont limit myself to one specific program to create music but rather a combination of Reason and fruityloops .

    Warning : Reason is not at all user friendly and will take a long time to learn and an even longer time to master unless you have a sound engineering background.

    Ironic that Reason has historically been the most limited suite available though, in terms of softsynth support...

    It's been about 10 years since I played with any electronic music software though I still remember being gobsmacked by pushing tab and seeing the wiring behind the racks.

    I remember a whole night spent doing a rewire to experiment with different setups .
    Difficult stuff when you are drunk and color blind :P
