Just mentioning it as I've seen it a few times now.
Nothing at all. Although, if you live as a Christian, go to church, etc, etc, and give no sign or reason whatsoever that you are a Muslim, it becomes very strange when people like yourself assert that you (Obama) are a Muslim.
The issue would not come up at all, if it weren't for the feverish obsessions in this regard by some people.

Having read one of his books, if he is hiding a secret identity in this regard, the impression I get is that he's likely an atheist (he would never have been elected president if he didn't become a Christian, obviously).
Not that I give a **** about Obama's religious leaning. I do find his pandering to religion rather revolting though.

Its not feverish obsession, its just curiosity been voiced.
Based on absolutely nothing at all.
Why does this curiosity exist? There's more to the story, and it involves feverish obsession, is my guess.
It is based on a few facts. His adoptive father, the oriental, was a muslim. He attended a madrassa in the east as a child. I think even his birth father was a moslem. Thats lots of evidence.

He attended a catholic school - have you ever heard of a muslim at a catholic school or a muslim parent that would send their child to a catholic school ?
Obama has also written and talked about using alcohol, marijuana and cocaine during his teenage years - muslim ?
He graduated from high school at Punahou School, originally a school for the children of missionaries serving throughout the Pacific region -
