I also heard that it is selling like hot cakes. See story here: http://www.theverge.com/2012/4/14/29...stock-att-site.
And is that $99.99 per month on a 24 month contract?
Why is this important? I gather this phone is unlikely to reach our shores.
Nope that is the pay is the pay in, best is AT&T gave people $100 rebate so in essence you got the phone for free. No wonder its "selling" like hot cake.
I know plenty of people in SA that would go for it, even if they dont need a phone or gonna use it as such, me included. Hell a cheap 24 month contract with this will be cheaper than buying a Garman for my car and I can still use it for that thanx to the included Nokia Drive.
.... and thanks for all the fish.
Nokia Drive sux. I'm really disappointed in Windows Phone, even though my Lumia 800 is pretty cool hardware wise (resolution sux though).
The Samsung Nexus S was much much better than the Lumia 800 that I'm using now, although I love the way it feels when you type on the Lumia 800.
I think the data issue that the Lumia 900 has is also featuring with the Lumia 800, because I often have issues with my 3G connectivity.
