Default Boerewors and cheese go together?

Got some leftover boerie and thinking of making a toasted boerie & cheese sarmie.

Never mixed the two before so I'm just wondering if it would taste ok?

    What type of boerewors?

    I have done it before....

Be careful of the fatty content of the wors. I slice the wors into rings.

    Tastes LEKKER with some chutney!

Rooikrans and the cheese is mature cheddar.

Was planning on slicing it into rings.

Boerewors and cheese should go well together, I mean they have pizzas with boerewors on so I presume it would taste good

Very few meals are not enhanced by the addition of cheese and chutney...

I generally take left over boerie, chop it into smaller pieces, fry them up in a bit of butter till the get a bit crispy.

Then you have a choice of boerie and cheese sandwich, or just plain old boerie pieces with a nice hot chilli sauce.... *nomnom*
