R8,849 for the Note? Ultrabooks with i3 processors can be sourced at this pricing.

I wonder which model of the Note that price is for? 16/32 or 64?

If the naming is anything to go by the devices are the same size, but totally different in that the Note is a phone and the Galaxy Tab 2 is "only" a tablet.
In South Africa even the information superhighway has potholes on it.

The Note 10.1 has a price and launch window, the Galaxy Tab 2's have just a launch window. Headline and excerpt space is limited, but I'm happy to accept suggestions to improve future ones if you have any.

Take into account that the following need to be mentioned so that people who may not have background info on these devices understand what the article is about: Samsung Galaxy; Tab 2; Note / Note 10.1; Android; tablet PC; launch window(s); pricing; in SA.

Or maybe not. It seems the big difference with the Note 10.1 is that it stands out from other Android tablets by being built specifically to draw or write on.

If Apple can do it, the other tablets probably hope they can do it.

They had pre-orders and folks selling their old units before they knew anything about the new device.
    Jägermeiʃter can fix that!

But it's not using Wacom technology anymore as far as I understand it? Just going back to a capacitive display which is hardly very accurate for drawing.
