75,000 Raspberry Pi baked before August

RS Components, one of two distributors for the Raspberry Pi, says the 75,000 of the tiny computers are burbling through the manufacturing supply chain and will be ready for release “in July to August.”
I just hope that they will be fast enough to run XBMC (or OpenElec) - first indication are that the hardware can play HD video fine... but the interaction in the menus, etc. is slow.
That's because the 2d interface was not accelerated at the time, the same thing with the debian interface. So hopefully somebody does the development on that soon.
There is already a xbmc build out for it and from what I've read, although it still in development, it works pretty well.
