    We will be sending a technician to test the streaming and buffering from site. The last technician got readings of about 4MB.

    As akescpt has mentioned - 3G is usuallly not constant. Depends on factors like the number of users on the 3G tower you connect to at the time and what they are up/downloading, your location, the weather etc.

    Does this mean one can expect a lot of buffering when streaming rugby for instance over 3G?

    And here I am once again sitting unable to watch the Euro 2012 (or yesterday afternoon's rugby) due to serious connectivity issues with 8ta. Any prospective buyers should be warned there are serious issues with streaming supersport.com on 8ta.
    In South Africa even the information superhighway has potholes on it.
