DO you remember Airwolf landing at Verwoerdburg cricket grounds ?

I remember when I was in primary school in Pretoria they announced Airwolf was going to come and land on our fete day. This was at the height of Airwolf popularity and my friends and I went ballistic with anticipation.

The day came and we stood there waiting all morning peering at the skies. Eventually we saw it coming! And turned out to be some random helicopter, and then they wanted to charge people for rides.

Every time I feel a bit sad I run the episode se1ep01.. that intro gets me every time.

They couldn't make a show like that now if they tried.
