Very nice. I have over 20GB space with Dropbox, so I'll probably keep using it instead for the time being. But this is most definitely a welcome addition to the Google product lineup.

I have set it up on my Galaxy Tab and PC but not messed with it much. Got all my GDocs synced to my PC and left it there.
Got 5GB on DropBox and 50GB on Box so no rush. Unless Google can give us some killer feature I will just carry on.

I tried to register. I saw the "Not yet ready please notify me" button, clicked that, and then it just said it will notify me ... didn't let me register :/

And I have been looking for something well priced and reliable for the last few weeks.

Problem is uploading 100GB of data will be a challenge :/

Tried it on my Android phone. Both app and web give the Drive is not ready, we will notify you.

Come on Google. I'm really anxious to get started. haven't used Dropbox much. Been anxiously waiting for this for weeks. 5GB is fine for now. Don't mind paying if I need more. Synchronization with Docs is brilliant. Overall its just so easy.

I've got two bog standard Google accounts and they've both got access to Drive.

Dropbox I give you 48 hours to respond or I move to Google Drive. On dropbox I get 100GB for +- $20 monthly or now I can get 400GB for +- $20 month

And they suck at it. I want my Linux client else I am staying right here on my Dropbox account thank you very much

Just a side note, on Android the client just replaced the old Google Dock app. Kept the same features and had some Logo's changed. So in short Google Drive is nothing new its just Google Docs with a Windows sync client supplied by Google.

Don't upload pictures to Google drive if you have an Android device. Copy the pictures onto the device and use the instant upload feature in Google Plus to upload them to Picasa, that way it does not use up any of your limit on either Drive it Picasa.

On a side note if you used Skydrive(Site) before make sure you go claim your free upgrade to 25 Gig(pic) else you will lose it as its a limited time offer. Just click Manage Storage on the bottom left of the web interface.
