Kalahari.com not taking back-orders
I have been trying to order a book with Kalahari for some time now. I have ordered the book 3 times and each time my order is cancelled due to no stock being available. Why on earth don't they just put my order on back-order until it becomes available? Or at least give me the option to place a back-order? I'm sick and tired of having to replace the same order the whole time!
Thats one thing I like about takealot.com is that they back-order you and confirm via phone if you still want the item or another instead and credit your account if you already paid.
Have you tried Amazon?
Just use takealot. They give you the option of waiting for the item, or just getting it from overseas. They're always my first choice when shopping online.
You should also check their "more us" and "more uk" sections.

Have a look at http://www.vanschaik.com/ too, maybe they have the book you are looking for. Their prices are very good, managed to save a couple of hundred rands on some books a while ago.
and they do backorder.
