Your sensitive Wi-Fi data still in Google’s hands?

Google South Africa collected sensitive personal data without permission – the question remains on whether or not they have deleted the information

Frankly if you run an unsecured wireless network, you deserve to have your data intercepted.

Nobody has the right to do this. Imagine the outcry if the perpetrator was the South African Government?

The more I see of Google, the more I think that they are an organisation that we should be very scared of. They are no longer an organisation that does no evil. It manifests itself in this behaviour, what they are doing to Facebook in search rankings and in my case they even turned into a censor board. This because i had an ad campaign for an artist who does nude paintings. They banned the ad because it directed to a page of a nude woman's profile(not even boobs showing) and did not even give an explanation.

The way they are now also promoting their own +1 button to achieve better SEO rankings also stink to high heaves.

Be very scared, BIG BROTHER GOOGLE is lurking and it may not be so farfetched that they could bribe a future president of America because of some search keywords he typed in.

If you are playing with sensitive data, use encryption. If you don't know how, don't play with sensitive data!

Once again, if you like your privacy don't live in a glass house. Also if you did live in a glass house and someone walked pass, and saw your beautiful wive as she undress, you will just be embarrassed. And everyone will tell you to hang curtains. Now why when someone uses an "electronic eye" to look at what he can "see" around him, everyone has a problem? JUST HANG CURTAINS!

They also collected SSID's and MAC addresses from secured routers and logged it with their approximate GPS co-ordinates.

There's a website where you can put your router's MAC into to see if it is on there.
