Your sensitive Wi-Fi data still in Google’s hands?

Google South Africa collected sensitive personal data without permission – the question remains on whether or not they have deleted the information

Frankly if you run an unsecured wireless network, you deserve to have your data intercepted.

They also collected SSID's and MAC addresses from secured routers and logged it with their approximate GPS co-ordinates.

There's a website where you can put your router's MAC into to see if it is on there.

If someone is upset about Google recording, your public transmitting wireless information you have a serious issue and its not Google.

There is a lot of personal information which crosses networks in telecommunications and I believe South Africans need to be assured this information is in very safe hands.
