There is a significant difference between a movie created for 3d and a movie created with 3d effects.
Tintin is the former and Pirates 4 for the latter.

The tech is a lot better nowadays so it should be good none the less.

JEBUS!!! Where do you come from all of a sudden????
    3D porn is old news.

Looks like its 2D for me just to be safe - hate it when a lousy 3D effects spoils a good popcorn action movie

Well I hope its available in 2D - else I'll wait for the DVD. Truly can't stand 3D.

2D in cine and then wait for the 3D blu-ray for a better viewing is my philosophy. SA 3D cines are just not up to scratch compared to overseas. I cant watch any 3D movies in the cine because of eye strain which then gives me a headache. But when i watch 3D blurays at home i really enjoy them without any problems

Definitely 2D if given the choice. Saw the premiere last night in 3D. Movie was amazing but 3D didnt add any value.

Won't even bother going to see it if it's not in 2D.

    Default Avengers - 2D or 3D?

Just saw it in 3D. Was good, but not something I'll spend days overjoyed about. I'd have been just as happy with the movie if I saw it in 2D. The movie is good, 3D does not make it better. To me it's like watching TV from a different spot in the living room. I could care less, its the story that makes the experience enjoyable, not the angle or depth.

If you have the glasses and don't mind the few extra Rands ... satisfy your curiosity and watch 3D, but don't expect a mind-blowing 3D experience.

2D for me, 3D is overrated and overpriced. If the story line is good, there's no need to watch it in 3D.

I watched Pirates of the Caribbean 4 in 3D and I regretted paying extra for it. Never again.

Yep the 3D did nothing for me. In hindsight I would've preferred to see it in 2D

Yeah 3D for this film didn't do it justice.

I saw the movie today in 3D. I thoroughly enjoyed the movie and would have enjoyed it still even if I saw it in 2D. Lots of fight scenes and special effects but the 3D was a little disappointing for me. I say watch it in 2D if you don't want to part ways with more money for 3D.

I normally watch all special effects type of movies in 3D because everyone is sort of focused on the big screen and there's less distractions compared to watching a 2D movie, that's just me.

Just watched it in 3D, don't think it worth the extra cash...

    Awesome movie though
