the new ipad offers wireless hotspot tethering (finally:-), however this is only available on certain carriers. Does 8ta offer this option for the new ipad?
Hi keelo!
Apologies for the late reply. The day isn't over yet! We have tested and it unfortunately does not work. Our device specialists are talking to Apple about making this available. It is carrier dependent and we will need all the facts from Apple with regards to applying to allow tethering on their devices.

ok cool. thanks for the response.
Would be awesome, considering people take the 10 gig a month data bundle and it would be nice to be able to share that bandwidth among other devices as well
Will this new micro sim have access to the 2+1gig promo?
what is the best USB dongle to use with the 10G 8ta contract.
to get the best speeds.
gotta remove it from the iPad now and use on my ADSL router as i'm loosing the ADSL part
Best reults so far have been (this is via SpeedTest on the iPad)
9.08Mbps Down 15.87Mbps Up
9.03Mbps Down 7.51Mbps UP
Have seen a 17.44Mbps Up as well![]()
Thanks, but i thought 8TA as struggling to teether the sims for wireless? how can you broadcast the wireless on the B683 and not on the iPad? Just a informative question.
where can i source the E367?
Thanks
PB
8ta why don't you have any data contracts that include an iPad3?

Can I not just cut an 8ta sim to micro sim size and then load the bundle after registering on the 8ta iPad Web portal?
It is too far to drive to an iStore to get this set up.
:-)
Can't you get a microsim from an 8ta store and then do the bundle online on the 8ta site?
