I discussed something with him & he proceeded to Google it...and found a line of reasoning at #1 of the results that was fairly novel & 100% identical. *sigh*

yeah I met a few people in real life, from other forums, not on myBB though.
I know a couple of MyBB'ers... a few know who I am too ^^
Anonymity perhaps the better policy.

Just to clarify : I don't mean making friends on myBB and then meeting them etc
I mean people you know in real life finding out your myBB persona.
Oh... I often just tell people I know myBB ID if they ask during a conversation or such... not a big deal the known quantities and there is nothing I do or say here online that is any different to how I am in flesh & blood land.
It is the unknown quantities online that the anonymity a MyBB persona serves as a buffer to...
Yeah one. I realized who he was first and tortured him with hints on the forum until he finally figured out who I was.
