Thread: Running 3G trough duoplus router- Struggling to get the router to provide Internet

Question Running 3G trough duoplus router- Struggling to get the router to provide Internet

I once was a very luvable person running an 1mbs DSL Line with T(h)elkom, then I moved and realized that Telkom doesnt provide ASDL lines in the new area I moved to . Thus I had to get a wonderful new 3G MTN Uncapped lite - now I'm groggy. The big question - Will I be able to use the old duoplus router with my 3G to have Wi-fi internet connection ? If possible, how ?

Can I use an DSL Router to work with a USB modem ? Will I be able to perhaps make use of Hotspot software ? (Have tried a few - none working)

Please - any assistance would be majorly appreciated as I have tried every possible avenue and unfortunately I cant seem to get my hands on a decently priced 3G Router at the moment.
I'm in a bit of a tight spot regarding the Wireless connections that I need to connect the rest of my office.

Try the TP-link 3220 from uniterm direct ... I got one for R350 a while back.
