    Current pricing seems to be on the fair side. I would think that a lot more can be done on the SMS pricing. If you compair pricing of SMS to other communication offerings like MXit, WhatsApp, etc. then SMS are very overpriced.

      - Get rid of unsolicited calls

    I have been on the Vodacom network over 9 years now and over the past 2 year my reception has been really poor and pathetic. My text sometimes get delivered late and the voice quality is completely none existant where I stay. (Estherpark)
    My family and friend even know that they must call me on my wife MTN line if they want to get a hold of me after hours

    Probably one of the better networks I’ve had the privilege to be part of.

    What can Vodacom do to make you a happier customer?
    Cheaper Calls & Sms's
    Shorter cellphone contracts eg: 12 months as opposed to 24months
    Better data packages or uncapped with fixed fee (eg: whatsapp, Web browsing, video streaming)

    i mostly use the internet service of which they are quite expensive, i have a top us 75 contract of which the airtime alone last about a week of which i log on to facebook 3 times in a week. i have tried buying data bundles they also dont last long. Since you have partnered with Nokia how about you come up with service compared ro blackberry where you pay for only calendar month and have access to internet and other social media

    Voice calls are very clear and crisp and sms's never missed one,i am happy with the quality of services i get from vodacom am at southgate,johannesburg

    What can Vodacom do to make you a happier customer?

    They can actually upgrade the towers in my area as promised instead of putting out press releases of all the new towers they put up in new areas.

    Expansion means nothing if you can't maintain your base network.

    For the last 3 years I have been experiencing dropped calls and the only reason it stopped is because I moved to a new house. Kept on giving me crappy excuses that it is my phone. Problem for them is that I have 4 different brands of smartphones that work perfectly when I put a 8ta SIM in them...

    VC why do I always get cut off along the N2 between CT & SW? There are about 4 spots that always cause a dropped signal. Then hospital bend is another one, always get cut off on the N2 Eastern Boulevard (Nelson Mandela Boulevard now?). M3 also has some weak spots.

    Then I also find calls get dropped and don't connect fairly often all over while my phone shows good signal strength. This is with a few different phones with data turned off.

    Voice:
    Very poor signal, usually just 1 bar on my phone

    SMS:
    I don't use SMS very often but it seems satisfactory


    What can Vodacom do to make you a happier customer?
    Improve coverage in Prospecton area and lower prices for voice & data.

    i have had very little to no problems with vodacom. my wife had a issue with her bb and they sorted it out very quickly.

    Area:
    I live in woodstock, cape town. 3g signal always good in my area and i have hardly ever had a dropped call.(usually a problem on the other end of the call)

    Happy Customers=
    Lower data and voice call tariffs.

    make SMSs and voice calls cheaper. Quality of service is ok.

    Ladysmith KZN
    Voice quality has improved noticeably... data a bit better but not that great.
    What can Vodacom do to make you a happier customer?
    Revise costs.
    Drop the prices.
    Make data less expensive, at this point they are percieved to be the most expensive of the bunch.
    Become more proactive: They are always the last to adopt any new changes. They are always studying result or testing while others are passing on savings or reducing charges.
    Voda-late would be the best way to describe them.

    Drop voice call prices, offer better upgrade/renewal incentives to keep customers from moving to other networks, offer discounts if you use multiple product/have multiple contracts.
