White people are still advantaged due the residual effects of 400 years of formal white supremacy and ongoing racism known as institutional racism not to mention the violations of BEE and AA laws. A recent study in the USA found that job applicants with white sounding names were more likely to be called back for job interviews than applicants with black sounding names. It's probably the same here in SA.
What's your explanation. More in line with the FW de Klerk foundation or Thutu?
