you know anythong of CF root?
A daily Rom is a ROM (android OS) that's good enough to be used on a daily basis without any issues.

CF-Root is the method of rooting your phone as posted in the link I gave you earlier.

Rooting with CF-Root is simple and pain free

I agree, you can't go wrong with CF-Root

@driesd Check out the S3 section of XDA Forums, you will find a lot of valuable and informative information there that will guide you every step of the way.

I also have to stipulate the importance of making a nandroid backup of your current rom after rooting your phone. This is a must before flashing any other rom.

I tried it this morning here at work... but when i added the CF root folder to Odin, it doesnt appear in the message box....

Must is have USB drivers like kies installed? MY usb ports are blocked by kaspersky at work... maybe that the issue? when i plug my phone in i can however access the sd card and internal storage

do you use allshare by any chance?

You need to boot your phone into Download mode - otherwise Odin won't work.

Be sure to follow the instructions very carefully. You must have the latest usb drivers installed on your PC and make sure Kies isn't running in the background. Kies and Odin are not good friends

Did you PC pick up your phone with mtp? I used default Windows drivers.

If it does you should be good to go. Confirm on the xda thread.

What takes the networks so long to get the variations? Not to be funny, but the pebble blue S3 was out here in Asia at the same time as the white. Pebble blue looks far better btw.

This is a genuine question - I really want to know...

Anyone considered picking up something like this?

    http://www.bidorbuy.co.za/item/70764...hones_MP4.html

I'm going overseas on honeymoon at the end of the year and would ideally like to be able to use my phone at the airports etc.

Spare battery is a bit of a schlep as I'd have to remove the cover each time to swop. Something like this might work better. Thoughts?
    Nokia 3310 >> Panasonic X66 >> Sony Ericsson Z600 >> Sony Ericsson P910i >> Sony Ericsson P1i >> HTC Desire >> Samsung Galaxy S3!

I bought a solar charger version of this and it didn't come with a connection for the Samsung. It came with connections for Nokia 3310s and 10 year old Sony Ericssons though...

Well apparently there was a manufacturing error regarding the blue colour coating. It appeared blotchy and was fairly noticeable. So they delayed it to avoid any problems with it in the future. I read this a while ago on androidcentral when the S3 was hot news.
