Sooo... I want to go from a Telkom 384 Capped to a MWEB 1mb Uncapped. Now my problem is:
Right now I pay for Telkom's package of 384 speed + Line rental (R450 - R500). If I were to swap over to MWEB, would I need to upgrade my Line Rental (and thus pay more), or do I just swap out the 384 speed for the 1mb speed (which is R199)?
ie. Cancel/End the deal with Telkom (so I stop paying for the speed, but still the same line rental). Then head over to MWEB to get that 1mb. Is it honestly as simple as that?
This will end up being a price reduction (that I calculated with my minimal knowledge of this topic). I would go from paying R450 a month, to just R350, and still get an increase in speed + cap.
(This is assuming that MWEB 1mb Uncapped is cheaper than Telkom's 1mb Uncapped)
OR
Should I wait for Telkom's speed upgrade (all 384 -> 1mb)? Would the upgrade end up being value for money than MWEB 1mb Uncapped? Don't think it's going to upgraded to uncapped, though.
