Stupid arguments deserve stupid comebacks. Do you honestly think that the numerous objections to Win8's human interface are mere "resistance to change"? The thing is an abortion - the interface of a badly designed and unpopular cell-phone OS carved out of the phone and butchered onto their traditional desktop OS, with no consistency and no practical evaluation of the user experience. Just to get into the app-store cash cow as soon as possible. It is going to be a big failure, as it deserves.
Change for the sake of change is the real stupidity. Ne?

Yes, rwenzori, you are right and everyone else is wrong. Only your opinion matters. Microsoft are idiots and do not know what they are doing. I get it. Moving along.
Almost exactly correct. Except there are many others who think likewise. John Dvorak ( you might have heard of him ) for one:
Let me get this straight. Microsoft came out with an uncompetitive smartphone which utilizes these weird tiles and failed to achieve any sort of market dominance or even serious attention. So the company jumps off a cliff by going with this as if it's the greatest thing ever and they make it the core of the new OS? Exactly who is out there in Redmond thinks this is a great idea?

Well, there is a saying that Microsoft faaks up the release straight after a very successful one.
Looks like it's actually true.
