Well it seems there is NO difference..it's degrading and humiliating. Have a look at your bolded part - the artist agreed that he gave them their medicine back, so it was indeed his intention.

Still waiting for him to reply on the other "hate speach" painting. Some people just do not know the meaning of the words "Satirical" and "Freedom of speech"

Zuma is a figure of ridicule in the minds of many south africans - and not because of his race. He did it to himself. Now he must put his big-boy panties on, realise that he put HIMSELF into a position where he is open to public debate and criticism, and that he hasn't covered himself in dignity in the process.
I agree with you that the man does not deserve his position, but geez man!

The difference is this was painted by a black man, so it's obviously fine...

That's not what the people who are making all the noise seem to think. Where was the defacement of this picture? Where was the court case? Where was the church making death threats?

You now sound just like them haters, I understand not everyone have the capability of understanding and appreciating satirical art! It's like wine, you have to be cultured to enjoy it for reasons other than just to get stoned!

Copyright vests with the artist by default AFAIK

I wonder if the artist is still happy with the way this has exploded. If not, he should be swallowing his pride and apologising. Unless his aim was to offend and create outrage. Clearly many people from different backgrounds are offended and disgusted but I'm guessing that was the point from the very beginning. He must be very happy man right now.

IMHO the MAJORITY, you just need a small trigger to experience it from most of them. Just act annoyed at any till or public service and see how quick the race card and hate exhibits itself. Young female students I find is more the exception and are more soft-spoken and tolerant?
