    Thats a pretty good set

Did you check the shipping price before bidding, some sellers dont ship international?

Allso don't be too worried about customs you wont pay more than 14% of the declared value ,and they normally just charge me the basic inspection fee

I accidently made the error of net checking that.
I responded to the seller and said he may cancel my bid (cause i couldn't).

The time elapsed i won but i have a new problem.
The seller isnt responding to my messages with regards to payment.
    Just great,what can i do?
@D4N much better deal then bidorbuy, the sellers are very greedy.

I actually made an error, i paid 16 not 26 Pounds for this^^^^.

At 16GBP it might actually be worth using a forwarding company like " https://www.forward2me.com/ ",I never tried a forwarding company but there are people using them, alternatively you need to try and track down some one in the uk to forward it for you.

If the seller doesnt get back to you contact ebay directly, they will contact him for you ,its not the end of the world.

PS If your on ebay ,make sure you use the "Advance" search option and select "Only display items: Available in my Country" it eliminates 90% of the sellers who dont ship internationally, but its still well worth contacting a seller before bidding

Today i stumbled upon an old XBOX at a pawn shop.
It was going for R295 and in poor condition.
I got it for R250 and immediately got to work....

I got rid of the many cakes of terrible dust and fixed a faulty IDE cable.

This machine is the easiest i have ever dissembled because its so similar to an old P4 PC.

The chassis was badly rusted i wish i took a photo so you could see the rust.
Like a Mazda 323 by the coastline i had to do something.....

I sprayed the inner metal chassis with black matt spray paint after sanding and got rid of the original chrome colour opting for a neutral black as it restorative finish from the inside.

After putting the machine back together the console had some terrible scratches on it so i used some Wynns leather and vinyl care to give the plastic a little shine thus reducing the poor condition.

This machine is as good as new and makes an awesome XBMC media center.

    What a fun Saterday.

    Im furious!
I signed up that forwarding mailing company Fasman suggested and was immediately able to pay this guy.

10 Minutes later her sends a request to cancel the purchased item, on the grounds of not shipping worldwide.
I paid for the UK forwarding mail service and my shipping address was Lancashire so he had no reason not to ship from within the UK.
He then states he wont ship to an unconfirmed address.

I reckon the item went for so low that he tried to bail out on a technicality.

I declined his request to cancel and he paid me back my money(he said so apparently, but it hasn't reflected on my credit card yet.)
Im just ticked off about this!!!!

Nice Xb1 ,while its open you might as well check the clock capacitor (It is the big 1F cap at the top of the board) for leeks, they tend to start leaking later on and corrodes trough the board over time, killing it slowly.

Allso you have a seagate hard drive in it, so you can score a extra 2gig of space by formatting the F partition ,but I would highly recommend upgrading the hard drive entirely ,to a 250gig at least, and installing Coin-ops(50-70gigs) on it

As for the ebay seller, there really isnt much you can do, some of them are paranoid when it comes to shipping internationally, especially when they see its going to "Africa" I am sure they still believe we stay in huts without electricity, and have lions roaming about, hence there irrational fear to send consoles here....

How reputable is the seller (Whats hes rating) if he is reputable(Or a ebay "top seller") contact ebay directly they will talk to him on your behalf and might change his mind.just be sure to explain your shipping the item to a local UK address and are not breaching the sellers conditions.

I just Googled Coin-ops for Xbox and must admit im in love with it.
Thats the kind of thing i would play for months and not tire of.
I have a 250 gig Hard drive lying around i just never figured i needed to use it in the Xbox until i saw coin-ops.....
As for the cap on the Xbox, i am very paranoid of this because my old Samsung LCD popped a few caps and i always check all caps, on all electronics.

As for the seller he was quite stroppy, however he did refund my money so i left it at that.
I wish i could have left a feedback for him to tarnish his 100% rating because he never responded to me for around 48 hours after i won the purchase.

Im still sure i won it for too little, and he bailed on a technicality.

That is the most beautifully organized collections i have ever seen!

No more grinding the controller to nothing!

Overall im a little disappointed with the condition of the console and sun damaged lables meh!

Today i bought a Gameboy pocket for R100...
