Guys please roll back to the previous version, this one is really frustrating. The forum is almost unusable.
Solve two of the world's major problems: feed the homeless to the hungry
On Firefox 12 under Ubuntu and I'm experiencing similar problems to those already reported:
- Can't see any formatting options in the Quick Reply window (font size, smilies, add images/links etc.)
- Can't reply with quote (it just loads permanently) - can only reply if I double click so it loads a whole new reply tab.
- Can't edit post and multi-quote doesn't seem to be working either (though it was buggy before anyway so I never used it)
It seems to work a little better in Chrome but only in some ways:
- The "go to newest post" link/button thingy is in some cases not functioning (it isn't a link).
- The area of the button graphic doesn't line up with the area that is the link (so only a portion of the button functions as a link) - this seems to be an intermittent problem, sometimes it is there sometimes it isn't. (figured this out - with the "reply with quote" option only the little quotey image before the "Reply with Quote" text is part of the link (this includes the whitespace before the word "Reply") - again this is intermittent).

The box said "requires Windows7 or better" so I installed Linux.
Stupid question, but have you tried Firefox 12.0?
Just tested editing with cough Internet Explorer 9 and it works.
Update: Everything works on Internet Explorer 9, so must be a browser related problem since Firefox is having the most problems and a few problems with Google Chrome.

LOL I hadn't realised the site had been updated. Lately my browsers have been doing all sorts of weird stuff so I just chalked it up to that. This upgrade is frustrating.
BTW as I type this in Chrome (I grant you though this is a developer build and so probably not the most stable thing on Earth) I cannot use the "Go Advanced" and "Cancel" buttons (they have no links associated with them and so are dysfunctional).

You only get one chance to piss off a client. After that they are an ex client ...
did the upgrade touch the instant update emails? mine seem to have dried up or are delayed for long periods. or is my issue unrelated to the upgrade?
The mobile site does not have the "Todays Post" link which is very useful to see the latest posts instead of going into each forum.

Quick Reply in FF12:
There's definitely a problem with FF12, and apart from the formatting options, I'm pretty sure that most of the other reported bugs are related to FF12 as well.
