we have a user that uses various methods to connect, a Vodacom 3G modem while out, a Telkom adsl connection at home and the company broad band at work.
Previously i had set his outgoing, smtp server as smtp.telkomsa.net and used outgoing mail authentication (same as incoming) and it had worked, but it now comes up "None of the authentication methods supported by this client are supported by your server".
using smtp.vodacom.co.za gives relay issues, and I have no idea what username and password I could use if I use authentication but it does at least prompt for these.
Setting the outgoing server to our work mail server and using his username and password does not seem to work either.
Has telkom changed something, or has something gone wonky on he laptop?
