    32-bit on the Asus W5F notebook. All my other systems are 64-bit.

    Ok. I'm inclined to doubt if the XP driver will work on 64, unless there is a 64 driver. Still strange though.

    So I manually installed the AMD Radeon Windows 7 driver on 8 just now and the movies stuttering is gone. Now I'll use it again

    Why can't Microsoft ****ing learn their OS doesn't have to be on a primary drive?
    I really don't want to be unplugging cables to install your os. Thanks.

    well after doing a fresh install and my pc still freezing i have decided to go back to windows 7. Missing the quick start up. But pc hasn't frozen once.
