    Nokia SA has confirmed that its newest Windows Phone device will be coming to South Africa

    How can they release this in SA if it does not support USSD? I know not many people use USSD, but lots of services, even some banks use it.

    Is that a WP7 limitation? Otherwise the software for SA will be different anyway right, so they'll include it in that.

    It's an OS limitation by-design.
    I've only been tripped up by this limitation once in the year I've had mine, which was activating the 2+1GB 8ta special, which they happily just did for me.

    EDIT: Also, you are forgetting about the "sim apps" which is preloaded with most things you would need to do, so you dont have to use USSD.

    Good news. Really like the look of this phone, and I like that it's not IOS or Android.
    Was gonna get the Galaxy S3, might just wait to check this one out.

    Love the metro OS. It is certainly better than the static Droids'. I have used both OS's (Lumia 800 v SIII).
