    Angry I give up

ok so i bought this micro sim for my ipad a little while ago, when i bought it i had it loaded in store with the 2 + 1 promo... that data is up and it is absolutely impossible to get a new bundle loaded after about 5 calls and a just as many "Let me transfer you..." i get a person who says the reason i cant register is becasue i have to go into store and do a swim swap because im using the old sim WTF!!!!!!!

why couldnt the first person tell me this and now i have to go completely out of my way just to top up on data

Sad part is just the other day i was reading about how much 8ta has improved their call center ...

The call centre is only improved in that they answer quicker. You have the same idiots behind the counter who are not interested in what they are doing. And then they have their "field service agents" a more inept and clueless bunch you cannot meet. One tech was 3 weeks late for his appointment. "I got lost" he said, so I threw him out the shop

I don't understand why they won't let you do it from the web portal

Don't you have another phone you can pop the sim into to activate the bundle?

Why do you not just log on to www.8ta.com, go to self service, register & log in then either buy data vouchers for 8ta from 7/11 then add the value to your account. Then purchase a 2 + 1 GB data bundle. You can also buy eith your credit card. It works for me

That must be new, because when I last checked I had to take the sim out of my ipad and load via USSD on a phone to load the 2+1 bundle

Hi, we would like to investigate.

Please email your 8ta number, contact details, ICCID (20-digit number that starts with 89270) and a short description of your experience to social@8ta.com.

Please mention MyBroadband and username in the subject line.

What model of the iPad do you have?

    Thank you
    8ta
