Is the Marketplace down?

I am trying to access the Marketplace via Zune, but it is refusing to load. Anyone else experiencing this problem?

As I recall access marketplace via Zume was removed recently. access via phone and PC Win Phone site only.

Yeah, a while ago. Use either windowsphone.com or the phones marketplace browser.

Arrgh ... was cool to browse it on a big screen - see the reviews and just send-to-phone. Bah ! Haven't checked the win-pho site yet .. but still - what is the point of installing Zune at all then - not like we can buy any music/videos from there.

From the website, if you are logged in, you can click to install and it will install on your phone without it even being plugged in

Wait serious? Last time I did it it just sent me a link to download on my phone so I thought well thats pretty useless.

Yup. Make sure your phone is connected to WiFi or 3G and then try again. Also, a valid sim and phone number is required - because I think it actually sends you a silent SMS to kick things off.
