I hope this question is in the correct place. I have a question about how Cell C routes traffic. I was having an issue this morning sending emails through my web hosting mail server. I use POP before SMTP on that account and although I could download mails, I could not send.
When I checked the logs, the IP address I was connecting to the server on port 25 was different to the IP address I was seeing when loading a webpage on port 80. Evidently, Cell C uses the same server (IP) for POP and HTTP, but a separate one for SMTP (port 25). The reason I believe that is because when I checked the logs, POP and HTTP gave me the same IP, but SMTP gave me a different on
Am I correct about this or could there have been something else I was not seeing?
