I have had the same, seems to happen on old data sims, and maybe a few others besides.

There is no indication yet on whether they can / will fix this.

If you don't need to keep the number (I didn't), just get a new 99c for Real sim.

Trevor used to be funny, but now he is just downright rude.

Loaded R5 airtime fixed the story

Was this with your old data SIM or your normal SIM?

I've just tried again with my 2 x data SIMs, one has airtime the other doesn't, both now result in Trevor telling me:
Your selection was not successful. Goodbye.

Tried all of that, no use.

Noticed that the sim is on a R2.50 per minute tariff plan !!!

Ouch! That seems like a rip off now after the 99c for Real tariff.

    Hi,

    I had the same problem.
could not change tariff via IVR.

However at the same time 2 other prepaid sims could change the tariff via IVR.

This made me understand that some sims might be the problem.

Called 140 and asked for a manual change on my number to 99c for Real Tariff.
This was effected without any problems.

So the IVR is working now on my number after the manual change.

Conclusion : Some settings for certain sims on the Cell-c system are not talking to one another. Cell-c can isolate the problem by comparing settings of a sim that works via IVR and one that does not.

So I changed my normal prepaid SIM tariff plan to "99c for real" last week and confirmed by checking again.

But the MyCellC website doesn't reflect that.
Maybe they are "working" on fixing that?

    Cell_C?
