    Yip promotional, but promo has finished few months before. Coudn't change tariff, so didn't use it.

    Update:

    My brother was eventually able to change his tariff plan to "99c for Real" on his Micro sim card.

    After a month he decided to dial 141 and the option to change was available this time.

    So I decided to try it on my data sim card (sim card was cut to fit into the iPad).

    Removed the sim from my iPad and placed it into my iPhone and dialed 141 and pressed 3.

    No go, option still not available on data sim cards.

    At least my brother is happy now, after trying for 2 months to change tariff.

    It sounds like he's going to try to migrate the number from the data SIM onto one of the new SIMs.

    Similar to a SIM swap, but not exactly the same, because doing a SIM swap will transfer all of the current services (including the tariff plan) over to the new SIM apparently.

    Just ported from VC, bought micro-sim, now discover I'mnot on 99c for real, when Zi dial 141 and press option 3 it says Goodbye, that's it!! How do I change???

    Try *147# and select option 1.

    That should work

    On Control Chat? No. Only prepaid and after migrating to 99c straight up contracts.
