AEG Lavamat. ... if you're gonna do lots of cycles daily, the Korean stuff will not last long.

She not only washes and dries but also irons the clothes.

Pity she only comes in one colour and it isn't metallic silver.

He needs a Front Loader and the local spead queen distibutor only brings top loaders in to the country for home use. They do however have a commercial front loader available that takes coins. Good brand though, some friends have had one of their top loaders for donkeys years now and it takes a big load.

+1 on AEG - will survive almost anything (except maybe the 2012 apocalypse).

IMO, the combo's are aweful. Clothes come out stinky, stayed in a rental place with a Samsung Washer Dryer and eventually gave up on drying and used to hand the clothes for drying. Also, took ages to dry compared to a standard dryer.

I'd never consider a combo. You can't start the next load till the last load is finished drying. Very slow and inefficien.

I've got a 8.5kg LG Direct Drive front-loader, bought at DionWired. It is really as quiet as they say. And, because there's no belts or pulleys, it's less wear on the motor, which they back up with a 10-year warranty.

PS: I just saw on LG's site that they've increased the capacity to 9kg; not making the 8.5kg any more.
