Service Books for everything except Emails

BlackBerry 9520 on prepaid BIS, been working fine for last six months, then last month, toward end of month, mails stop arriving.

Had to do a battery pull to get mail again, everything else, Appworld, Apps all access BIS fine.

Recharged prepaid BIS on 1 June 2012, receive confirmation message and proceed to do the mandatory battery pull and after reboot BIS is active showing 3G BIS.

Browsing works, Apps work, just noy emails.

Contact 155, they check whether I have recharged with sufficient funds etc. Offer to send me Service Books, everything is looking good on their side, no worries, so wait for twenty mins, pull the battery and wait for five minutes and then replace battery and reboot - Still no mail arriving, however everything else working via BIS.

Do a wipe and reinstall of Vodacom approved software, ver 1077 for 9520 and reboot, setup emails on the phone and now suddenly, getting: No message services configured, you will be redirected to setup wizard to setup your email account, but I had already done so. Clicking OK takes me to email settings which ask me to log in and after that, there are the five email accounts which supposedly are not setup :o

In that dialogue I choose the option to send Service Books, it completes saying Service Books successfully sent.

Go into Options, Advanced Options, Service Book and there I find Twitter, Vlive Wap and all the expected ones for the installed Apps, not a single email related Service Book.

So I go into the Email settings and delete all the Emails listed, nothing left there and then pull the Battery, wait, reinsert, reboot, and comes back up with BIS active, I recreate two email accounts, which reports successfully setup.

For good measure, I checked Advanced settings for APN, and it is completely blank with nothing ticked.

So once more another battery pull and comes up with Apps active, send myself test mails from my PC to the two new created mail accounts - not a single email arrives :erm:

Contact VC on 155, check the same stuff, send me test mails, send me Service Books.

Test mails arrive on my PC and these have been set to keep copy on Server - nothing arrives on BlackBarry 9520 :confused:

Can download Apps from Appworld, Browse via BIS, just no emails working.

Was recommended by VC Consultants to take the 9520 to VC Service Centre for Software update :wtf:

As I said, did a fresh install of 1077 and putting all of these here just to make sure I covered all bases.


Anyone have any ideas?

UPDATE: Deleted Gmail account, recreated it again and now:
Your device encountered a problem with this application's server. Select OK and repeat the action again, and this becomes a loop as it seems it cannot synchronise with the Server ?

VC N1 city did software update which was a downgrade to ver. 436

Did not work.

Then 16 June whole batch of server activation mails arrive saying can send and receive mails in 20 mins.

Now can send mails but cannot receive even if I copy to myself?

So back to square one again.
