best prepaid / top up data package

hello,

i rememberhaving had excellent latency gaming with mtn in '06

think they were getting their data from verizon back then.

Anywho, im hating vodacrap internet everywhere i go, so i am looking at the best mtn deal available atm.

What would you reccomend, i use around 3gigs per month.

Am currently with telkom 1meg dsl which i would like to cancel

Why not keep the ADSL? Do you travel around or something? I would keep the ADSL, MTN 3GB package is probably above R200. Is there 8ta signal where you live?

For gaming you're far better off with an adsl connection and your 1 meg connection will be upgraded to 2 megs by Telkom soon. Not sure what the cost of a 3gb package on MTN is but I know they have a 2gb data contract for R139/month with a 3.6 mbps dongle. A little extra per month gets you a better dongle and around R50 more/month gets you a router.
