    Default Botswana launches 4G network

We are falling behind the rest of Africa (never mind the rest of the world) at breakneck speed.

This is just a pilot, same as MTN SA's pilot

Botswana is probably better off than SA.

They don't have an nest of insatiable parasites at the helm.

We are probably paying for it?

Botswana has always attracted me as a country. I would love to go visit.

They've got some tough business and ownership laws though.

    Means nothing.

Don't knock our networks either as its obvious you know nothing about how 3/4G it works. CellC can easily bump their tower speeds and this can all be done offsite. Also end-user hardware is the deciding factor and market availability.

I say everyone with money and a hope for a better life and who hates the ANC should move to Botswana and develop that country. It would make the ANCYL very happy and also give the ANC a chance to run SA by themselves.

Im happy for Botswana, I hope their 4G really turns out to be a success and it must be affordable.

On the other hand, Im not sure if SA's 4G will be ready by 2014, it seems its going to be a long while.

..when you say this, are you talking same technology, same frequency? Otherwise I highly doubt this is true....everyone is saying it, but I still dont see anyone doing it....
