OK, he resigned or was forced to resign, doesn't change a point. A dead fish starts smelling bad from the head.

I was merely correcting you. As for whether he resigned or got fired, well, if you want to speculate about it then that is alright. Unless he or Vodacom states otherwise, it will remain speculation, not fact.
Now why you loer en kyk gelyk?
Is ek miskien van goud gemake?

No one comes just to resign in 9 months, or so.... Reality check....

To the benefit of Vodacom and then they still sleep at night! I guess they will never implement what Morkhans calls a hard cap because ripping of clients with the so called TOP UP is very profitable.
Dude. Stop. EVERYONE knows that if you have airtime available and you browse the net you will get charged out of bundle rates. Period. If you are on contract or top-up or prepaid. If you didn't know that then you should not have spent money on something if you didn't know how it worked. You have to load data bundles to pay out of data rates. If you knew you were going to use the sim for only data then you should have converted all the airtime to data to prevent it being used for out of bundle browsing. If there are any losers its the Vodacom rep for not explaining this to you but you should also not have spent money on something if you fully didn't understand how it works.

Data bundles on prepaid work exactly the same as top up - once a bundle is depleted, any available airtime is used for your data connection. If you don't want to waste airtime only load on enough airtime to purchase a data bundle; or if you are on a data top up contract do not load on airtime that you do not intend to convert into a bundle.

That's the way the top up contracts have always worked.

    What he said...
MTN has very poor customer service and PR skills: MTN doesn't take fraud cases seriously

But you are jumping to conclusions, just like OP and Top Up.

Maybe his wife got cancer and he wants to spend more time with her ... Maybe his son needs special help through a hard patch ... Maybe his doctor advised him to ease off or face a heart attack ... Maybe he felt so embarrassed by your post he resigned out of shame ... Maybe he was offered another job in the Vodafone group that required relocating but declined because he didn't want to disrupt his daughter's schooling... Maybe the MD job took more out of his life than he thought and he wanted more time with his family ... Maybe duodenal ulcer ruptured and he needs time off, so responsibly resigns ... &c, &c.

There are dozens of perfectly legitimate reasons. Speculation is NOT a reality check.

Maybe he failed what he promised to get for Vodacom from corrupt goverment when he was appointed... By example preferencial LTE band allocation. You started to speculate, I can too...

    Maybe.
    Maybe not.

All I was showing is that speculation is pointless, so the only reality check is to stop impugning people whose circumstances you cannot know.

    Acid is corrosive.

I didn't speculate. You did. What I wrote is supported by tone of the announcement and period (which is normally on such position for probation time). Everything shows that way and it is called reality check.

So why for example your acerbic comments about smelling fish heads?

Your posts evince a skepticism that thinly veils hostility. This is neither fair nor just to the person in question.

If you're passionate about justice, it helps if you display a little.

I have a R315 top up, so I get R315 value of airtime, if I dont convert some of it to a data bundle it will use this airtime for data at R2 a meg. So I convert about half to data then still have the remaining left for calls or whatever. Your data bundle will be used first then the remaining airtime. I normally get a notification when I only have 3megs of data left on my data bundle. Did you not get this sms?
I have the same contract, I usually convert half of it to data. The other day I had a notification that there were a few updates, so I hit the button for it to continue, put the phone down and went to the kitchen. When I returned, I saw the message, the 3 megs left message, but it was to late for me. It ate more than R200 in a few minutes......how disgusted I was then.

Now, I hate Vodacom for having such *** out of bundle rates (Actually, all of them have *** out of bundle rates, really unnecessary). I am close to an upgrade, but will force myself to cancel my contract. Will be pay as you go from now on. Do note that I am with Vodacom since 1997.............

Why can't all of the SP's out of bundle rates be closer to there bundled rates? It doesn't make sense.

Pay as you go works exactly the same as TopUp.

In any case, Vodacom launched OOB=IB many years ago, on Contract, Top-Up and Prepaid. It's called Advanced and you can buy it like you can buy any other offer.
