On the same note, does anyone have any opinions on the comparison below.

Samsung PS60E550 VS LG 60PZ950

The Sammy is 2012 entry level and the LG is 2011 top of the range (the 850 is pentouch but the 950 is probably better in other aspects) Both, I can get for about 19K which is 20K cheaper than I am getting the 64" for so for me this seems like better value.

The PS60E6500 is the one that looks exactly like what I want but surprise surprise, it is not available in south africa.

Any feedback on the PS60E550? Its at Dion Wired for R20K. Seems like a great deal.

havent bought yet. waiting for the house and garden show to see if anything available at cheaper prices. A part of me still want the PS64 but to spend twice the price for an extra 4 inches (that sounds weird lol)

the 550 has everything I need but just worried on the anti reflective coat - hopefully not like the d550.
19k at ans wholesalers - not sure how reputable though?

Edit: oh, i did a comparison on the e550 and the e8000 and the one differene was 1080p (black and white) vs 1080p for the 64.

what does 1080p (black and white) mean?
