Cats can be extremely dangerous and it doesn't take a genius to understand that.
My 2 cats hunt together and when they get angry they can get quite agressive and those claws hurt like hell.
These are tiny cats that are domestic pets.
These idiots want to have a tiger in their house? Got to be on crack

Those dogs must be scared as hell. Wonder if they bark? One day is one day.

And then some people get pissed off about the Brakpan stereotype

Ooooooh, it WILL not end well. You have to be damn insane to keep a wild animal as pet.

Great, this is just going to perpetuate the myth that Americans and Brits have that there be tigers in Africa....

I remember an old song of Jeremy Taylor about "I'm from the Northern side of town".

In it he compares the British stiff upper lip nobility to a potential system here in SA.
One of his examples is to mention someone who is the Earl of Brakpan ... !!! ... it was most funny.

Sure...this guy has money, I get that (dunno what he does though)...but even with money, surely there are laws stopping this kind of thing, like it needs to be in an enclosure X by Y meters, permits etc etc?

Looking at the vids...it literally is looked after like a pet...no enclosures at all from what I see. Cant be legal what they doing... surprised they have not been visited by inspectors etc (or maybe they have and all is fine )

His red Lamborghini being used as the dogs kennel is pretty funny.

    Pet tiger.... check
    Helicopter... check
    Lamborghini dog kennel .... check
    Porche ... check
    Second lamborghini ... check

All he needs now is a mountain lair and a golden gun and he could be the next bond villain.

Was just thinking about this yesterday, what it would be like to own a tiger. Despite how house trained and friendly it may seem, I would always feel uneasy. It's not a pet it's a killing machine. Would be like trying to be buddies with Riddick he can go mass murderer on your a$$ any second

I had the opportunity to wrestle a 7 month old tiger at Lory Park Zoo once. The keeper was cleaning the cage and asked me if I would like to keep him busy so he could do his job. I was instructed to turn around and sit down on my haunches, and every time I did that the tiger dropped down to first stalk and then mock-attack me. Always from behind and always with a jump and a 'bite' to the neck, I'm a big guy but you wouldn't believe how heavy and strong a 7 month old is.

Despite it all being playful (it 'pawed' at me with it's cushions and never got its nails out) I still walked away with heavy scratches on my arms and neck. Man I wish I had the guts to keep one as a pet!

Oh yeah, and that look on the tiger's face while drinking its milk in the first pic. Priceless!

I guess as time goes on the tiger will be spending more time in his enclosure and less time around the family...I noticed his owner wouldn't go into his enclosure in the above video but rather took to filming him through the fencing etc...anyhow, not long ago we had the story of the man killed by his hippo who was like a son to him....I predict a similar story here soon.

Ps...that grass is amazing..do you think it's real?? Looks like a carpet. The girlfriends voice sounds exactly like yolandi visser lol.
