Thumbs down Nvidia shuns Africa - What? Africa is not part of Earth? Shame on you!

Have been struggling to find a most appropriate forum section to have this posted... but here goes.

I have already finished finding the drivers and files I need. But I am appalled at some basic support functions which are missing off a globally used product's support site.

    ---

Visit this link, if you can't read the message below which I had posted on Facebook, and you work for Nvidia... shame on your company, for either being ignorant, or being bigoted.

If you are involved with operations in Africa, double-shame on you. I want to simply download a driver for my (apparently poorly chosen) NVidia device, but I get a virtual black hole for my continent? Bigots, neanderthals or idiots... that is all that can be said for the people that are supposed to represent your company.

See this? Just another of the comglomerates that swiftly sails by Africa.

    I'm getting tired of it.

Don't you just hate it when you are presented with a website which asks you to identify your locale, and your whole continent does not exist!?!

Sacrilige, and shame on all the people in control, plus the web developers of those companies (who failed to raise the issue), who make Africa a non-option.

To those companies; May your competitors reap the profits from Africa, seeing that you don't deserve, never-mind WANT, to do so.

I seem to have failed to mention that most parts of that message was part of a series of e-mails which I had sent to Nvidia personnel and some addys I could dig up of PR people involved with Nvidia. Early days, but I hope to get a decent result... Africa on their map.

If that's the case, Canadians should also be upset - they've been lumped with the USA. Australasia isn't there either, so I really don't see the problem.

I just always choose USA, it's usually the best website anyway.
