Sorry for necro: but think its the best place to post this find.

We just left the Solar system after how many years? but we still have a long path ahead.

That is the current truth and it hurts lol

Unless.. we find another way to travel.

    Lets imagine:

Forget about the TIME and SPEED we we do not have to travel to the nearest habitable zone in space.
Let's focus on changing ourselves instead.
In this current human form we are somewhat useless.
Perhaps changing our form is what is needed.

Simply put, our organic gas and waterbag bodies do not cut it.
We need to become another form of matter, and we should and are working hard at it.

Synthetics, AIs, bots golems, yes.. humans must become machines and more,
once we the machines are ready we can travel with our arks of data and genetic libraries
and restart elsewhere.. leaving the earth dry and brittle and fried by the sun,
as our geomagnetic shield shudders and fails and all life on earth shrivels to nothingness.
This text exists even though you can't really see it, now apply this truth to your existence in the universe.
