Drones etc are an epic way of keeping your highly trained operatives out of harms way, the reasons for sending drones in is another question altogether... In short their military tactics are sound, the reasons for using those tactics and resources are not always quite so clear.
Hell I would be happy if SA introduced a drone strategy and budget for things like coastal and border surveillance and tactical support, you could get more hours for less R.
