Thread: Be careful who needs the loo

Default Be careful who needs the loo

A friend was robbed on Friday - Rivonia.

The short of it - A white Citi Golf with four black occupants (2 men, 1 women and a male child) had been parked outside his house for a while. The woman got out and rang the bell and told the maid that she was really desperate to use the toilet. The maid let her in. One of the men walk around the outside of the house and distracted the maid.

They got an iPod, a cell phone and pretty much most of my friend's wife's jewelry.

    Sort of my theory.

The maid has been having some serious family issues involving sangomas and her daughter.

The dogs didn't even try to eat anyone.

Maid had been away but returned to work on Thursday.

On the other hand, the maid has been with the family for many years and they trust her.

The last time I heard a story like this, the owners toddler was there and they, of course, assaulted the toddler.
You are very lucky you or your family were not there.

I wasn't Not my house. But the thing is that if my friend had been there this wouldn't have happened.

Possibly something else - possibly with far worse consequences.

Anyhow, the moral of the story is summed up by smalltownsky.

Hey, we can but hope that on their way off to pawn the stuff they stole that their car left the road and burst into flames with no survivors.

So, until you read of a white Citi Golf being involved in a nasty accident, be careful.

Fire the maid. Anyone who lets strangers into your house like that is a security threat & you need to get rid of them. She should have told her to go take a piss or a dump in the bush.

+1 Especially if a young family member is home, in this country you can't take chances anymore.
If our nanny/housekeeper let someone in I'll fire her on the spot, she has been informed not to allow strangers in and has apparently NOT when builders were around.
