    Microsoft Corp unveiled a tablet called Surface on Monday, in a move to rival Apple Inc’s massively successful iPad.

    Yup. I sure hope it is.

    I'm interested in it. I've ever really been interested in a tablet, but this looks like an awesome substitute for paper work and paired with Google drive, this will be awesome for me.

    I could wish for a higher density screen than 1376 to compete with the iPad3, but this does look promising I have to say.

    I'm not sure that I would be excited about getting a Windows8 tablet. I suspect that the version of Windows will be so "closed" and watered down. Windows is cool as a desktop OS...lots of software support, millions of ways of customising things and getting it to work like you want. I suspect it won't be the same on a tablet.....Xbox a typical example.

    We will have to wait and see, but I tend to agree with you on this one.

    I'm no expert....FAAAR from it. I just don't like being limited on how I use my devices, because of the software.

    Do these devices have built in 3G/wifi/ethernet?
