    actually the poll is misleading.

    of COURSE coke can make you fat, none of us will deny that, what we are arguing whether it is coca cola's fault or the individual's

    edit: example, if i have to avoid salt in my diet, i won't go out and buy a product with salt and then blame the manufacturer. Coca Cola has never claimed that coke was healthy for you

    Yet but they use sugar here, in the US they do not use sugar in coke. They use corn syrup which has in the past been blamed for the american obesity explosion.

    They use it to replace sugar in so many things, the fda turned down an application to have it named corn sugar. You must read of on it and then ask yourself if products should have a warning. Something along the lines of corn syrup used, could make you fat faster

    Go google a bit, very interesting the corn syrup vs sugar debate.

    On the flip side the powdered form of coke may help with weight loss.

    Side-effects include a messed up nose, prostitution and death.
