ISPA may be taken to court for naming and shaming spammers

It's not actually illegal to send spam in South Africa.

I needed to develop vba code to send email from within and Access database. I was also getting a lot of spam at the time so I so I developed an Anti-Spam Access Database. I can include:
    * recipients
    * how many messages I would like to send the recipient notifying them that I don't want their spam
    * a time interval between messages

Works like a dream and I now get little spam

If you want it, PM me and I will give it to you - as is. I will not take any responsibility for anything!

Question is why is MyBB giving this spammer more exposure .. ?

Shouldn't we as responsible netizens be more principled and ban his & his company name from this forum? For life?

Spamhaus & co also got hit by spammers when said spammers got blacklisted.

    So it's really nothing new.
Christ-mass is NOT for Christians. Jeremiah 10.
Is the 10 Commandments for Christians?

Saturday is the Seventh day, Sunday is the first day.

After a few posts all arguments end up at a base point...death penalty, religion, race-card, Middle East, etc. - waste of time - McD

    Viva ISPA.

I didn't know there was a real Brian Jude. I thought he was the product of a sick imagination. I wonder what he is doctor of - maybe he doctors mailing lists.

I am glad he got publicity because I can now put a face to someone I can really loathe for being such a scourge in my life. What is his phone number so I can tell him to his face? - every time he spams.

If he goes to court I would happily testify how many precious hours and megabytes of mine he has wasted.

I can absolutely say I have never invited him to send me mail and often tried to stop. The fact that he changes domains means he is trying to crook the system deliberately.

    It isn't?

The Electronic Communications and Transaction Act begs to differ.

You are only committing a crime if you send a spam AFTER the receipient has asked to be unsubscribed. This unfortunately means that the spammers feel that it is their right to continue to send spam until they receive an explicit unsubscribe request.

    ....
Dr Brian Jude is one of the most influential motivational speakers in South Africa and a customer service guru - rather ironic as he pisses me off with all of his SPAM. Because of that I won't attend any of his seminars (I've read some of is books and seen some of his videos)
