Okay I got my IT34 and ITSA, but I had to submit a new corrected IT12 as the first one I submited for some reason had the medical aid section as 0 instead of 1 which is me.

I got my IT34 and the ITSA but for some reason they had worked it out without the normal medical aid section listing me, so I've resubmited a new claim and double checked it, because the original form had just put in 0 instead of 01 for the dependants section.

Whoops seems like it doubled my posts, also I've now had to submit supporting docs, oh well.

Thanks for the laugh. Maybe have someone that knows a tad more about tax have a look at yours?

Was audited last year. Made the whole process take an extra day or two. Was very impressed with their service.

Geez! What do you do, or who do I need to bribe to get money back? Am I missing something that I can claim for? For the last few years my final asessment always balances out and comes to almost R0.0 (± R0.50). Or am I just being too honest?

My medical is waaaaay below the 7.5% of taxable income to qualify as a deduction. I also do not have a Retirement Annuity, just our companies' pension scheme towards which I contribute.

Same here. The only way to be sure to always get something out (no I don't work for outsurance!)

My refund this year is coming from kitchen repairs on the duplex unit I rent out. Lots of repairs to do on the 23yo unit lol

Looking at my history, SARS take between 7-9 to get back with final assessment after loading supporting documents.

Ok, I could live with that. I'm waiting on a huge payout. I can't believe how much extra tax I'm actually paying monthly.
