MTN Speed Test using my phone as a Wifi Hotspot

I was amazed by the speed I got today while doing a speed test.

Using my iPhone 4S as a wifi hotspot.

Download Speed: 9080 kbps (1135 KB/sec transfer rate)
Upload Speed: 1163 kbps (145.4 KB/sec transfer rate)
Latency: 114 ms

I also get very good HSDPA speeds here in Bellville, just wish it was my ADSL speed.

MTN are doing Point-to-multipoint upgrades all over the country at the moment. I have submitted my own list of projects for sites that need these upgrades as well as the mobile IP upgrades. These upgrades are a necessity seeing as the clientele has flown in with the current data packages.
