A bunch of Atheists telling a JW he is reading/understanding his bible wrong, and that the deity is suppose to be X or Y.

As if they care how he reads/see it.

I'm actually proud of him, most JWs wouldn't dare take a peek at these discussions, let alone take part.

LOL I couldn't give a stuff. I just find the hypocrisy of it hilarious. Big G is almighty but there is stuff he can't do? Come on you could spot the obvious contradiction from orbit.

If you wanna talk logic fail? I have one for you.

We have a Big G, that indirectly made the universe - but reside in it.
Testing humans - but humanity failed the test
To live forever in this universe - but the universe itself is suffering from decay.

Edit: Don't get me wrong the Sci-fi nut in me loves the way it gets interpreted. But the historian in me says pity its all a load of bull.
The "views" fall flat the moment you include the excluded books's, even after they started using their own translation. The way how and when the denomination was created leave a lot to be desired, and lets not even start with the way you leave the religion if you have a "slip" of faith.

I've been actually using the official website to look for answers to most of the questions that were asked , I didn't mean to come across as arrogant but merely just pointing out that you should actually read scriptures and not just take another persons word for it.

actually, you might be surprised when you examine the various faiths more closely, how similar they are. Most Christians know 0 about the Muslim faith, buts its remarkable how closely aligned they are in several instances.

Hellooooo, christianity stems from judaism, and islam stems from christianity, of course they are remarkably similar..

So I dive into something here I didn't think I'll do. I dont discuss religion easily, but as we had a discussion today at work, I just wondered what you guys think about this.

I believe in God. I have my reasons. But here's what I wonder about. I believe in God, and many other people believe in their God. The thing is now, most of the time people believe in the God their parents do, and taught them to believe in. They were told that this their God created every thing, and do every good thing still. So they follow what they were told. Some people change over time, but still I think the most just follow with what they were told.

So say I do my best to serve my God, and person b too, but because person b believe in another God, I think he will burn in hell when he dies, and I will go the heave. Person b, on the other hand, thinks the same of me.

So say there is just one God, and one heaven. We both dies. I think that I and person b will go to heaven, no matter what God we believed in. because if I were God, I would have see that I and person b believed what we were told, and did it to the best we could, we both lived a honest life.

I dont think neither of us will go to hell, just because it so just happened that our parents tol us "wrong".

Or what do you guys think?

From your post above I can definitely see that you are doubting although its only slightly as the bible says there is a heaven and a hell but do you really believe something a human hand wrote ? I can also assume that you were raised in a christian home from your post, have you explore red what is out there ?

This is something that bothered me for quite a while but not anymore when you die you die that is all no where to go no "pearly gates" no "hot place" to burn in you just die
