R109k for a Volvo S40 on Tuesday.
Flew up to JHB to collect the car without even seeing it. The gamble paid off, awesome car and awesome previous owner.
Also R112k for a Honda Jazz in April. Same story as above.

The husband bought a gaming pc for 5k 6 months ago, motherboard blew this week but he still maintains it was a good buy.
He also bought some recording music gadget for 3.5k. He responded to an ad for someone wanting to swap their Nokia cell for a blackberry...I was convinced he was going to get conned but apparently not..cell still in perfect working condition thankfully.
I don't take chances will big buys on gumtree. Not as trusting as him lol.
Bought a car for R200k and sold a car for R100k.

After six months of use you can hardly blame the seller.
I've done this many many times. Never really had a problem with it. The other week I sold a 1tb drive on there which went in a few days for some reason but we managed to get it RMA'd and it was all fine. A couple of months ago we picked up a 3-piece suite of cream leather couches quite new perfect condition, worth about r20k... for 4k. Gumtree's done alright by us.He also bought some recording music gadget for 3.5k. R2500 Basset.
6 months later he had eaten through around R5k worth of furniture and appliances, he had cost us in excess of R12k in veterinary bills which included the cost of having a swallowed berry surgically removed.
So just shy of R20k!!!
We gave him away to friends living on a farm.
Every minute I stay in this room, I get weaker, and every minute Charlie squats in the bush, he gets stronger
